Like many kids, Kathryn started making art out of anything she could get her hands on. Her love of creating continued to college where she earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Her focus was Children's Book Illustration which still influences her work today.

Kathryn now works as a fine artist based out of Southern Maine. She works mostly in Oil, Acrylics and Ink & Watercolor. She is a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association and the Art Guild of the Kennebunks. Kathryn is also a member of York Art Association.
